The Chanter Newsletter

Volume 2, Issue 1 of the Tattoo's newsletter The Chanter was distributed in April 2009.

The publication offers a review of the March 1 Friends of the Tattoo Reception plus the 2009 line-up of performers for two-day Tattoo shows to be held in June of this year.

The Chanter is published regularly by the Canadian International Military Tattoo.

May, 2008 the Canadian International Military Tattoo launched Volume 1, Issue 1 of their new official newsletter, The Chanter. The name was chosen both for its meaning as a singer or songster as well as the obvious fit for the organization, as the flute or finger pipe part of a bagpipe on which the melody is played. The publication will be published regularly.

The debute issue features a welcome from CIMT's Chairman, news and a Q and A section.
