May, 2008 the Canadian International Military Tattoo launched Volume 1, Issue 1 of their new official newsletter, The Chanter. The name was chosen both for its meaning as a singer or songster as well as the obvious fit for the organization, as the flute or finger pipe part of a bagpipe on which the melody is played. The publication will be published regularly. The debute issue features a welcome from CIMT's Chairman, news and a Q and A section. Read the May 2008 issue here. |
