"... the Tattoo has made significant strides in the past few years but, like many organizations, it needs financial support, whether individual, government or corporate. The theme of this year’s tattoo is The Canadian Naval Centennial 1910–2010, a salute to the dedication and achievements of the “Senior Service” of the Canadian Forces. Naval personnel, as well as soldiers from some of Canada’s finest Army Reserve regiments — all of which have contributed troops for overseas service in our country’s missions in Afghanistan and other dangerous parts of the world — will be participating in the performance..."
